Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School started as paddocks nestled amongst the bush in Gelorup and has grown to be a thriving community, still surrounded by bush on the original campus in Gelorup.
Officially opened on Tuesday, 8 February, 1972, the origins of the School can be traced back to 1967. The School has been at the forefront of education and innovation, being one of Australia’s first independent, Anglican, co-educational Boarding school’s offering Primary and Secondary education. We look forward to celebrating 50 Years of providing children of the South West with an outstanding all round education in the unique setting that is our School.
Alumni Tours
As part of our 50 Year celebrations, we invite our former students and staff back to our campus for an informal tour. Mr Brad Goerling can conduct a personalised tour on a suitable day and time. See the School as it is now, revisit places that may be nostalgic to you and see how things have evolved over time. Personalised tours will take around 30 minutes, and take place during the normal school day with staff and students present. Family and friends are welcome to join the tour. Group tours will be offered on particular days such as the Secondary Athletics Carnival, Reunions and the Community Fiesta. To make a booking, contact the Marketing and Community Relations team.
