Reunions and Events

Old Grammarians’ Golf Day 2025

We’re excited to host the very first Old Grammarians’ Golf Day – a new event for alumni, friends and supporters of Bunbury Grammar to come together, reconnect and enjoy a great day out on the course!
Held at the beautiful Sanctuary Golf Resort in Bunbury, this social four-person Ambrose event includes 18 holes of golf, roaming lunch, post-round nibbles, prizes and plenty of time to catch up with familiar faces. Whether you’re keen to compete or just there for the good company, we’d love you to be part of it.
Tickets are on sale now – and sponsorship packages (including team entry) are also available. Book your place or find more details here: https://events.humanitix.com/oga-golf-day-2025

Reunions

Each year, a number of reunions are supported by the OGA. 10, 20, 30, 40, and SOON 50 Year Reunions are organised by the committee, providing students of various peer years with the opportunity to catch up and see the changes in the School. The Committee also provides support for other reunions, ensuring old friendships can be reignited! If you would like to assist in the arrangement of the events, or would like to organise your own, the OGA Secretary can facilitate the communication of information to other OGA members. Please email oga@bcga.wa.edu.au with details of the event or support you would like to offer.

50th Year Events

In 2026, the Old Grammarians’ Association celebrates 50 years of connection, community and shared history. Since 1976, the OGA has united past students, staff and friends of Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School – a community built on shared experiences, lasting friendships and a deep sense of belonging. To mark this milestone, we’ll host a series of special events throughout the year. Whether you graduated five years ago or fifty, we invite you to join us as we celebrate this golden chapter together.

Old Grammarians’ Garden Party & Commemorative Ceremony | Saturday, 28 February 2026

Join us as we celebrate the anniversary of the very first meeting of the Former Students Association, now proudly known as the OGA, with a special ceremony in the School Chapel.
Afterwards, guests will gather in the Secondary Quadrangle, transformed for the occasion into an elegant garden party. Expect fresh-cut blooms, market umbrellas, lawn games and plenty of charm, plus a spread of tea cakes and light refreshments to enjoy as we reconnect and reminisce.

Old Grammarians’ Golf Day | Friday, 23 October 2026

Back for its second year, the Old Grammarians’ Golf Day promises another fun, social morning on the green! Play as a team or come on your own – it’s about connection, conversation and a few friendly drives down the fairway. Enjoy a roaming lunch, prizes and post-game refreshments in the relaxed surrounds of Sanctuary Golf Resort.

50th Anniversary Gala | Saturday, 24 October 2026

An evening fifty years in the making! Join us on the grounds of Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School for an elegant celebration of our golden anniversary – honouring the past, celebrating the present and looking boldly to the future. This unforgettable night will bring together alumni, staff, families and friends for a sophisticated evening of fine food, live entertainment and reflection beneath the stars.
