Fees

Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School provides excellent care and opportunities for students. Enrolling at our School means your child will become part of an environment that encourages learning excellence. Our School has consistently achieved 100% graduation and our graduating students are highly sought after with university offers, employment opportunities and GAP experiences.

As an independent school, Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School is ineligible for government capital funding. Therefore we must meet full operating costs, building initiatives and programs from tuition fees, levies and recurrent government grants.

Enrolment Fee

A fee of $110 to cover administration costs, is required with the completed application form. This fee is non-refundable and applies to each child enrolled. Payment can by credit card at the completion of the online form, or via our payment page.

Endowment Fee

The Endowment Fee of $1,000 for new students is payable to the Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School Foundation on receipt of an offer of a place at the School. Payment of the Endowment Fee guarantees the child’s place and completes their enrolment in conjunction with a signed Offer and Acceptance document. The School Foundation operates in support of the School to raise funds for the purpose of its development and educational objectives.

The Endowment Fee is non-refundable and limited to the first two students in a family. By signing the Offer and Acceptance document, parents or guardians have agreed to be jointly and severally liable for all fees and other payments. Payments of the Endowment Fee can be made online by visiting our online payment page.

Fees and Levies

The tuition fees and levies cover the major costs associated with attending the School, including textbooks, a one to one take home device for Years 7-12, a one to one classroom device for Years 3-6, IT software, data storage and support, school resources, most co-curricular sports and activities, compulsory camps (except Year 6 and Year 10) and most curriculum-based excursions.

A dedicated travel service is also provided to take students to off-site appointments and sporting commitments. Boarding students also have access to the School nurse, School psychologists and Chaplain, who all regularly attend boarding meals.

Payment of Fees

School Tuition Fees and levies are charged to family accounts quarterly and payment is due prior to the commencement of each term. Alternative payment arrangements on a monthly or fortnightly basis can be considered by the School but this would require prior discussion with the Director of Business & Administration or the Finance Manager. Such a payment program would require full payment by the end of each consecutive term.

For parents seeking an alternative payment program Edstart is a specialist provider that offers tailored funding packages for school fees, other related charges and arrears, and allows parents to extend payment over a longer timeframe. You can find out more about Edstart by visiting their website.

In providing information about Edstart, the School does not provide any recommendations, brokering or advice services nor does the School receive referral fees, commissions or other remuneration from Edstart.
