Located right here on our School campus, this program supports families seeking high-quality, play-based care within a familiar and engaging environment. Children are cared for by qualified early learning educators who take time to understand each child’s rhythm, routine and interests.

Koolangka Learning also complements our Little Grammies and Kindergarten programs, creating a seamless transition into the School community. Learn more about Koolangka Learning here or visit our FAQ page.

Little Grammies

A playful first step for 3-year-olds

Is your child curious, energetic and ready to explore the world? Our Little Grammies Pre-Kindergarten program welcomes 3-year-olds into a world of discovery, creativity and connection. Designed and delivered by experienced early childhood educators, this two-day-per-week program uses play as a powerful tool for learning – supporting social, emotional and cognitive growth in a fun, nurturing space. Children build confidence and develop friendships as they enjoy time outdoors, express themselves through music and art, and learn more about who they are and how they belong.

Kindergarten

Now with two classes from 2025!

Our Kindergarten program is a vibrant, full-time learning experience that recognises each child as capable, creative and full of potential. Delivered over four full days per week, our program offers a rich variety of activities – from painting and music to outdoor nature play and small group learning – carefully designed to support curiosity, independence and growth. Kindergarten students benefit from specialist lessons in visual art, sport and performing arts, and enjoy small class sizes (capped at 20) to ensure strong connections between teachers, students and families.

Children can also access Before and After School Care and enrol for Koolangka Learning on Wednesdays for continuity of care. To secure a place in Kindergarten, families must also complete a School Enrolment Application for Pre-primary.

Pre-Primary to Year 2

Learning through inquiry, connection and creativity

In the early years of formal schooling, our focus remains on nurturing confident learners who question, explore and wonder. Our Pre-Primary to Year 2 program balances explicit teaching with meaningful play and inquiry-based learning, encouraging children to take risks, share ideas, and make connections to the world around them.

Students are guided by expert classroom teachers and supported by specialist staff in visual arts, music, sport and performance. Learning regularly extends beyond the classroom, whether it’s a bushwalk through our beautiful campus, a hands-on science experience, or a child’s first overnight camp. Our Irene Bourne Centre is purpose-built to support these formative years, offering a calm, inspiring environment where students are known, supported and celebrated.
