Learning

Set on 33 hectares of natural bushland, just outside the City of Bunbury, our School provides students with a unique environment in which to learn. Offering programs that cater for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12, we recognise the importance of learning from an early age.

Our dedicated Early Childhood student, is a hub of activity in our Primary School. Here, a love of learning is nurtured and developed; Growth Mindset is established and the value of play is never underestimated. Our Primary School students are able to thrive in a environment the encompasses trees, bushland, bugs, dirt and sand!

This development of a Love of Learning is a strong focus throughout our Primary School. We view the happiness and wellbeing of our primary students as paramount and this philosophy is supported by an incredible community, Positive Education and an inclusive culture. Primary School students have the opportunity to experience all that the arts have to offer, learning to play strings and wind instruments and steel pans as well as being able to participate in annual productions. The visual artists are able to enjoy dedicated art classes, where pottery, painting, creativity and colour are explored and encouraged!

Our Secondary School journey starts with our dedicated Year 7 Transition centre, providing our youngest high school students with a safe environment as they commence the first phase of their secondary schooling. We focus on working with high school students to develop their individual talents and help them to uncover their potential. Our School’s model of learning inspires our teachers to develop engaging high quality learning activities, encouraging creativity and critical thinking.

We encourage our high school students to make connections, explore ideas and development aspirational goals. Our Senior Secondary students, those entering Years 10, 11 and 12, are provided counselling and pathway planning to help them focus on areas of particular interest or aptitude. Work experience and work placement programs, hands-on learning and personal goal setting, helps students to achieve personal and academic growth.

Our highly qualified staff are focused on developing students who are engaged in their learning, and they are dedicated to assisting primary and secondary students to achieve excellent learning outcomes. Our students receive the best support for their learning journey and we provide a broad range of interactive, challenging and creative experiences to allow students to develop a love of learning and a passion for our School.
