Education and Care FAQ

We anticipate opening in July 2024. While we prepare the centre for opening, we invite families to join our waitlist for the Long Day Care options or register for the second Little Grammies class. You can also email educationandcare@bcgs.wa.edu.au if you have specific queries.

When the centre is fully operational in 2025, we will welcome children from 2 to 5 years for long day care.

During the initial opening in mid-2024, we will enrol a limited number of children from 3 to 5 years old for long day care, with a second dedicated Little Grammies class being considered if there is sufficient demand.

  1. Long Day Care – please join the waitlist if you are interested in the long day care, for children from 3 to 5-years old. Placing you name on this list does not guarantee a place, as it remains subject to availability.
  2. Little Grammies – our dedicated 3-year-old program is currently offered on Tuesday and Thursday and is fully subscribed. We invite families to register for a second class, provided on Monday and Wednesday, to commence from July 2024.
  3. Kindergarten – There is currently a waitlist for Kindergarten 2025 with applications open for all future years. Families interested in a place in 2025 are encouraged to still apply as a second class will be offered should there be sufficient demand. Kindergarten applications need to be made via the School online Application form with a $110 non-refundable fee required.
