Also Coming in Term 3: Year 7 Tour and Information Evening

Every year during Term 3, we hold a Year 7 Tour and Information Evening which is an ideal opportunity to learn more about our Year 7 Transition Program, meet the dedicated Year 7 teaching staff and enjoy a tour of the Secondary campus. Parents and students are invited to attend, with the tours departing at 5.00pm and an information session commencing at 6.10pm.

Regional Events and Visits

Each year, we welcome students from across regional Western Australia – and we love staying connected. Whether it’s catching up at local shows or hosting relaxed get-togethers, these events are a great chance for our current families to connect. They’re also a warm, informal way for prospective parents to meet our staff, chat with current families, and learn more about life at Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School.

FeNaClNG Festival | Karratha, 2 and 3 August 2025

We’re proud to be part of this year’s FeNaClNG Festival in Karratha – a celebration of community, culture and Country in the heart of the Pilbara. Maxine Williams, our Aboriginal Culture and Language Coordinator, and Justin Forbes, Head of Boarding, will be there across the weekend.

At Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School, we believe in the strength of story, the power of connection, and the importance of culture in every child’s education. Whether you’re a current family or just curious about how our School embraces these values, come and find us – we’d love to have a yarn!

Newdegate Machinery Field Days | Newdegate, 3 and 4 September 2025

There’s a lot that goes into choosing a boarding school – and most of it starts around the kitchen table. We’ll be at the Newdegate Machinery Field Days this year, ready for a good chat about life at Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School.

Whether you’re thinking a few years ahead or right in the middle of decision-making, we’re here to listen – Principal Matthew O’Brien, Head of Boarding Justin Forbes and Deputy Head of Boarding Josh Williams will be on site, and they understand what matters to regional families. We’ll also be hosting an event on Friday night for current and prospective families, as well as our alumni in the area, at the spectacular Premier Mill Hotel in Katanning, another great opportunity to mingle, grab a bite and get to know us!

Overseas Visits

We are a CRICOS registered school who welcomes applications from students from around the world. During the year our staff will travel to various locations to meet agents and parents. To find out more about enrolling as an international student, please visit our International Student page.

If you are a past student residing overseas, please update your details so we can invite you to meet staff when we travel to your part of the world!
