Flavours & Phrases: A Global Celebration for Languages Week

Languages Week turned our Year 8 classes into a colourful celebration of culture, connection, and curiosity! Year 8 students explored the world through food and language, setting up mini stalls in our classrooms, showcasing traditional treats and everyday phrases from countries near and far.

Students were immersed in a joyful exchange of flavours and words, buzzing with energy, laughter, and curiosity. The activity was a delicious reminder that language learning is about more than vocabulary – it’s about understanding people and building bridges across cultures.
