The Lishman Lap of Valour is a deeply meaningful School tradition that honours service, legacy and community. Originally established as the Ring Road Race, the event was renamed in 1995 to recognise Val and Jean Lishman, whose long-standing connection to the School remains central to the day. Each year, the ringing of the Carbet Castle Bell – traditionally by a member of the Lishman Family - signals the start of the race, where Houses compete in a spirited relay.
