Interhouse Cross Country 2025

Our 2025 Interhouse Cross Country ran without a hitch, following an awesome morning spent celebrating Reconciliation Week. Energy and school spirit filled the air, as students from across year groups came together to compete, showcasing not only their athletic talent, but also their perseverance, tenacity and – most importantly – House pride!
Redding runners rose to the occasion and took home the W this year. Their collective effort and strong participation across all year levels saw them receive a well-deserved win, but we want to say well done to all students (and staff) who took on our beautiful bush track and crossed the finish line. It’s not an easy feat, but we do it together, and that’s what makes it so much fun!

The final placings of the Houses were as follows:

1st Redding
2nd Knight
3rd Wilson
4th Goldsmith

A special mention goes to all our age champions and runners who gave their all on the day. Whether running for a place or simply to finish strong, each student’s contribution helped make the event a success. Here are winners for 2025’s Interhouse Cross Country!

Among the many standout moments from the day, one in particular perfectly encapsulated the spirit of our School community.

A younger Primary student, feeling nervous ahead of her race, was supported with thoughtful encouragement from staff and, in a touching show of peer leadership, was accompanied by a Secondary student who ran beside her to the very end. The two crossed the finish line together, hand in hand, in a moment that spoke volumes about empathy, support, and the strength of our School values.

This act of kindness did not go unnoticed, and it left a lasting impression on both the student and her family. It’s a reminder that the most meaningful victories are not always measured in time or medals, but in the connections we make and the encouragement we offer each other along the way!
