Among the many standout moments from the day, one in particular perfectly encapsulated the spirit of our School community.
A younger Primary student, feeling nervous ahead of her race, was supported with thoughtful encouragement from staff and, in a touching show of peer leadership, was accompanied by a Secondary student who ran beside her to the very end. The two crossed the finish line together, hand in hand, in a moment that spoke volumes about empathy, support, and the strength of our School values.
This act of kindness did not go unnoticed, and it left a lasting impression on both the student and her family. It’s a reminder that the most meaningful victories are not always measured in time or medals, but in the connections we make and the encouragement we offer each other along the way!
