The Grammar Hawks Netball Club at Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School competes in the Leschenault Netball Association (LNA) and the Bunbury Netball Association (BNA). Students can join a team from Primary through to Secondary. Our School teams also compete in various competitions throughout the year against other Schools.

In 2018, the School had one of its most successful years, with the Country Week A Grade Team winning the grand final for the fifth year in a row. The girls also went on to win the School Sport WA Championship Cup, making them one of the best high school netball teams in the state. In 2019, the success continued with another Country Week A Grade win, resulting in six consecutive championships, and another School Sport WA Championship Cup win.

In 2022, Grammar Hawks Netball Club achieved two premierships thanks to our Year 6 and Year 9 teams. After a two-year break from Country Week due to COVID-19, our new A grade team battled to keep the School’s six consecutive year streak for the championship, however, suffered a 1-point loss in the grand final after an intense, nail-biting game. The School’s Netball players are now more motivated than ever to return to netball in 2023 and continue to train hard to achieve success and regain the title.
