The Grammar Hawks Cricket Club at Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School competes in the Bunbury and Districts Junior Cricket Association with teams in the Year 5/6, 7, 8, 9/10 and 11/12 competitions. We also run a Blasters program for students from PP to Year 4. Boys and girls are encouraged to play at all levels.
The School also enters a First XI team in the Kim Hughes Shield (2025 South West Champions) and our lower Secondary students play games against visiting Schools. We also run a biennial Cricket tour to India, playing against local Round Square Schools.
Our School grounds incorporate three cricket ovals, including a turf wicket and excellent net facilities which are regularly used for WA Cricket talent camps. We are proud to have WA Cricket captain Chloe Piparo and Australia One Day representative, Lance Morris amongst our alumni.
