A world-class education in Western Australia’s South West
At Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School, international students are welcomed into a community where they are known, supported and genuinely cared for. Set on a beautiful bushland campus near the coast, our School offers a world-class Australian education in a safe, calm and welcoming regional setting - an environment where young people can thrive academically, socially and personally.
Founded in 1972, Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School is an independent, co-educational Anglican day and boarding school with students from more than 35 countries. Our International Student Program combines strong academic pathways with exceptional pastoral care, helping students feel settled, confident and well prepared for life beyond school.

Located in Bunbury in Western Australia’s South West, our School offers international students a safe, clean and friendly environment with a strong sense of community. Students benefit from a calm pace of life, excellent air quality and a supportive setting where they can focus, feel secure and stay connected with family overseas.

Studying in regional Western Australia offers real advantages for international students. Our South West location provides a safe, clean and friendly environment with a strong sense of community, excellent air quality and a relaxed Mediterranean climate.
Studying just two hours from Perth, our students enjoy the benefits of a regional setting without isolation - including smaller class sizes, closer relationships with teachers and a calmer pace of life that supports focus and wellbeing. Our time zone (GMT+8) also allows convenient communication with families across Asia, making it easier to stay connected.

Academic strength sits at the heart of our International Student Program. Students benefit from a personalised learning environment that balances high expectations with individual care.
We also know that English proficiency varies from student to student, so our approach is designed to meet each learner where they are. English language learning is fully integrated into school life, ensuring students build confidence both in and beyond the classroom.
