Koolangka Learning offers nurturing long day care for children aged six weeks to five years. Across four dedicated rooms, our educators build meaningful relationships and provide personalised, play-based experiences that support each child's individual development.
6 Weeks – 12 Months

Babies 6 weeks to 12 months old
Our Babies Room welcomes infants from six weeks of age, once minimum immunisation requirements have been met. In a calm and nurturing environment, our educators follow each baby's individual routines, building strong, trusting relationships with children and families. Through gentle sensory experiences, movement and play, babies are supported as they begin to explore, connect and discover the world around them.
Children 12 to 24 months old
Our 1–2 Room provides a safe, engaging environment for children taking their first steps towards independence. Through sensory play, music, movement and everyday exploration, children are encouraged to communicate, connect with others and develop growing confidence. Educators respond to each child's individual needs and interests, balancing familiar routines with opportunities to discover, try new things and learn through play.
Children 2 - 3 Years Old
Our Toddler Room provides a warm, engaging space where children can explore, experiment and develop a growing sense of independence. Through imaginative play, hands-on discovery and shared experiences, children build communication skills, early friendships and confidence. Supported by responsive educators and familiar routines, toddlers are encouraged to make choices, try new things and explore the world around them at their own pace.
Children 3-5 years old
Our 3–5 Year Room offers a nurturing long day care environment where children are encouraged to follow their curiosity, develop friendships and grow in independence. Through purposeful play, creative activities, outdoor exploration and shared learning experiences, children build confidence, communication and social skills. Guided by our educators, each child is supported in their individual learning journey as they prepare for the next stage of their education.

As children grow, their learning journey can continue through Little Grammies (Pre-Kindy) and Kindy. These dedicated early education programs build on their curiosity and confidence, fostering independence, friendships and a love of learning as they take their next steps into school life

Led by Director Kristy Holdcroft, who brings more than 25 years’ experience, and supported by Assistant Centre Manager Elleisha Miller, our educators focus on building strong, genuine relationships with children and families.
We believe learning happens best when children are given time - time to feel safe, to be encouraged, and to lead their own play. When children are engaged and happy, learning follows naturally.

Kayla is a dedicated and experienced lead educator with more than 10 years working in early childhood education. She brings a calm, nurturing presence to the Babies Room, building strong, trusting relationships as she supports each child’s early development, curiosity and growth.

Rocky is the heart of the service. Working across all rooms, she supports educators with programming time and breaks while building meaningful relationships with children and families throughout the centre. Her flexibility and warmth help keep our service running smoothly each day!
