What an incredible day! Our Decades Day Community Lunch and Big Freeze was a huge success, with our community coming together to raise a fantastic $2,837.85, to be split equally between FightMND and the Intown Lunch Centre.
A massive congratulations - and commiserations - to all of our brave Big Freeze participants. Mr Forbes, our Head of Boarding, claimed the title of biggest bucket, closely followed by Mrs Chiera, our Head of Secondary. They were joined by Mr Brooksbank, Mr Green, Mr Dawson, Mrs Maree, and our school captains Leeuwin and Indi, all of whom put up their hands for a wintery splash, showing wonderful good humour in the name of a great cause!
The Decades Day dress up did not disappoint, with students bringing the 70s, 80s, and 90s to life around campus. We saw everything from full Beatles get-ups, epic 80s tracksuits, B1 and B2 in the flesh, killer 90s basketball jersey and chain combos, and some seriously snazzy 70s outfits.
A huge round of applause for our Student Executive and Mr Strindberg, for their fantastic organisation in bringing this event to life. Finally, thank you to every student, staff member, and family who got involved, donated, and made the day such a success - your generosity will have a genuine impact in our local community.
