Music and Performing Arts

Our Performing Arts program aims to provide opportunities for students to learn and grow within the Arts. We offer Primary and Secondary students instrumental music in class and as electives, the opportunity to perform in annual school productions, support in Eisteddfod performances as well as School bands, orchestras and ensembles. After School Drama Classes

Ms Bridget Hennen will be running after school drama and speech classes each Wednesday from 13 February to 10 April 2019 from 3.30pm-4.30pm for students aged 8 to 12 years. Bridget trained and taught at the famous Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts in London.

The emphasis of all training is for enjoyment with fun classes to develop and motivate life skills to improve:

  • Creativity, imagination and confidence
  • Acting exercises, improvisation, poetry and prose
  • Dictation training, sight reading and voice projection
  • Movement, relaxation and breathing techniques.
