Each year students who will join our Community are invited to our Orientation Day. They have the opportunity to meet staff, their peers and start to get familiar with our School. Orientation Day will be held on Monday, 18 November 2024 for all students from Pre-primary to Year 12.
Boarding students and their families are invited to the Father Brian Newing Café. Boarding students will have the opportunity to spend the evening in Boarding, prior to joining Day students on Monday, 18 November. They will meet Boarding staff, participate in some fun activities and go on an evening outing. Parents will be provided with an overview of Boarding and have the opportunity to meet Boarding staff and ask questions. The Welcome session will commence in the Chapel at 8.45am. Parents are invited to stay for an official welcome, short information session and then take the opportunity to meet key staff at morning tea. Tours are available for parents who have not yet toured the campus and the Clothing Shop staff will be available for new families to make appointments for January.
Hat, water bottle, comfortable casual clothes (suitable for sport), recess and lunch. If your child would like to order lunch from our School Canteen, orders can be placed WITH CASH on the Orientation Day morning. Please see here for the Canteen Menu. Parents and students can place their orders directly at the Canteen, where bags are available.
The day will conclude at 3.00pm. Primary students and students from Years 8 to 12 can be collected from the Chapel.
YEAR 7 PARENTS: Students can be collected from the Year 7 Centre at 3.00pm, and staff will be available to answer any questions.
Pre-primary to Year 6 students will meet the Head and Deputy Head of Primary and be allocated a buddy to assist them throughout the day. They will spend the day with the cohort they will join in 2025.
Year 7 students will spend the day with Year 7 and other key staff in the Year 7 Centre, learning more about what to expect and enjoying some fun activities to help build new friendships.
Year 8 to Year 12 students will be allocated a mentor for the day. They will spend the morning attending classes with their peers and then will spend time in the afternoon meeting key staff and talking to other students about what life is like at our School.
