Glimpses of Grammar

Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School invites all members of our School Community to be a part of our Glimpses of Grammar, a community project to celebrate the School’s 50 Year Anniversary.

This community project invites individuals to create their own work that captures a glimpse of their time at Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School. Each work is to be 9inches by 5inches – (23cm by 13cm) in size, either landscape or portrait. Our Glimpses of Grammar will then be displayed together as a celebration of our community at the Art and Technology Exhibition held in November this year.

Glimpses of Grammar, is inspired by the 9 by 5 Impression Exhibition, which was hosted by a group of Australian Painters in Melbourne in 1889. The majority of the works were on 9 by 5inch cedar cigar box lids, which were the artists impressions that focused on the reality of daily life.
