“Terrified” was the comment from Mrs Sonia Castro (parent of Danielle) when she received confirmation that her team of mums were successful.

Best wishes go out to all teams!

WA Swimming Distance Meet

Congratulations to Jye Jensen who picked up 4 gold medals at the HFMF Distance Meet at the HBF Stadium pool this weekend.  Jye set new personal best times in winning the 12 year old boys 200 metres Backstroke, 200 metres Freestyle, 200 metres Medley and 400 metres Freestyle.

Jye’s sister Tahlia set a personal best time in her 800 metres Freestyle swim for 14 years old at the same meet. With Tahlia competing in the Open Water 5 km event at City Beach this weekend the performance came at the right time!
