Students race to Rotto

For the 19th year in a row, Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School students participated in the iconic Rottnest Channel Swim.

Students entered as part of a duo or a four-person team, and received fantastic support from parents, friends, teachers and School community members. Students were also lucky to receive a great motivational speech from Australian Olympian and Commonwealth Medalist Blair Evans on Friday night as part of the team briefing.

Students from Year 10, 11 or 12 can nominate to accept the challenge. Special mention to Isabel Dubois, Abbi Roth and Hannah Doret who made the crossing for the fourth time, and Amber Anderson who completed her third crossing.

Congratulations to all particpants in completing the race despite unexpected challenging conditions. Well done to team Gunna Be Fast who broke the School record for the mixed duo.

Special thanks to School team sponsors Millard Marine, Retravision and Eyeline Australia.
