Congratulations Class of 2015

Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School’s Class of 2015 students have excelled in their recent WACE results with what is now our eighth consecutive year of achieving 100% graduation. The Class of 2015 have proven themselves to be a group of high achieving individuals with 18 students awarded a Certificate of Commendation in either WACE or VET Courses for their efforts.

Our Vocational Students have performed highly and this year we are pleased to be a top performing school for Vocational Education in the state. They leave our School ready to embrace apprenticeships, job offers and further study opportunities and we wish them well on this most exciting journey.

We have had many students excel in individual courses this year. Certificates of Commendation were awarded to Edoardo Anderle, Tanika Armstrong, Kelsey Atcheson, Connor Burrowsm Jacqueline Byrne, Hannah Daggett, Jack Eardley-Wilmot, Meaghan Green, Ebony Grigo, Hannah Jackson, Ainslie Jolliffe, Imogen Keall, Mitchell Lockhart, Sam Riley, Liam Smoker, Thomas Teasdale, Evangeline Ward and Sebastian Wilson for achieving at least 20 ‘A’ grades in their course units. 2015 Head Boy and Dux Mitchell Lockhart was also awarded a Certificate of Distinction (Physical Education).

It is not only these high achieving students who we congratulate on their results, but all members of the Class of 2015 have performed admirably with 113 students out of 119 achieving an ATAR – an exceptional result of 95%. Additionally, 53% of these students were awarded as score of over 80, a brilliant result which will see many students gaining their first course preferences. It is fantastic to see our students’ hard work and determination reflected in their end of year results.

Our students have taken advantage of a world-class education through a combination of international, leadership, service artistic, performance and sporting opportunities found nowhere else in regional Western Australia. The Class of 2015 will be remembered for much more than just their final results. They leave us as fine young men and women who have contributed greatly during their time at our School. We have seen them flourish as members of our School community and we wish them all the best for their futures.
