Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School celebrated 45 years of educational innovation with a High Tea on Saturday, 18 November.
Former students, staff and parents joined current School community members for an afternoon of tea, delicious food and plenty of reminiscing.
Guests listened to Foundation Staff member and now Archives volunteer Greta Cleghorn as well as Head Boy in 1975, Andrew Allsop. Both explored the School’s journey and acknowledged the incredible School community – the “Grammar Family”.
Irene Bourne, former Chairman of the Board of Governors and current volunteer, recognised Mrs Margaret Paterson’s significant and continued contribution to the School over the past 45 years.
The event launched the commemorative book, The Formative Years 1967-1981, which outlines the foundation years of BCGS.
Copies of the commemorative book are available to purchase from the School. Books are $10 each and can be purchased directly from Primary or Secondary Administration. Alternatively, email email@example.com to place your order.
It was a fantastic event and we thank all of our School community for their contributions over the last 45 years.
