Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School offers two language programmes in Secondary: French and Japanese.
Students in Year 7 undertake a semester's study in each of these languages, before selecting to continue one as a compulsary option in Year 8.
From Year 9 onwards, taking a language becomes optional. Both languages are offered up to Year 12 level.
The School has had a strong relationship with Japan for many years. This continues through the Round Square Association. Students also have the opportunity to take part in exchanges to French speaking countries.
