Our secondary co-curricular programme complements our academic curriculum and pastoral programme. The breadth of our co-curricular opportunities ensures that the special talents of every student can be identified and nurtured, giving each student the chance to realise their full potential.
Students with an interest in the arts are able to explore, express and build on their talents through a variety of performing arts groups, with musical, drama and film making the focus. Communication skills are developed through debating, public speaking and creative writing clubs. The interests of those who love the outdoors are catered for through the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme and activities such as rogaining, CALM Bushrangers and Scuba Club.

The School’s Community Service Programme ‘Helping Hands’ also encourages students to become involved and to put something back into their community. Volunteering at the Riding for Disabled Association, taking part in Clean up Australia Day, planting trees on Arbor Day or visiting an aged-care facility are just a few of the activities that students can become involved in.
Many of life’s lessons are best learned in a setting other than the traditional classroom. Our camping programme in Years 9 and 11 provides students with learning opportunities that develop the skills associated with outdoor pursuits, and opportunities to find out more about themselves. These Outward Bound adventures lead to enormous personal growth for those involved. For many, it is a life-changing adventure.
