Worsley Energy Challenge

The Worsley Energy Challenge is a partnership between business, schools, universities and community groups committed to improved energy practices. In 2005, Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School was invited to become part of this innovative project. The project challenges each participating school to reduce their reliance on fossil fuels by turning to renewable energy sources.

Round Square

Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School has recently become a proud member of Round Square and will provide students with a variety of opportunities including community service, work projects, exchange programmes and others to help them to prepare to become the leaders of tomorrow.

Sustainable Schools

Sustainable Schools integrates sustainability education into a holistic program with measurable environmental, economic, educational and social outcomes. The program implements improvement in a school's management of resources and grounds (including energy, waste, water, biodiversity, landscape design, products and materials) and integrates this approach into the existing curriculum and daily running of the school.

In 2005, Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School was chosen as one of twenty pilot schools within Western Australia for the Sustainable Schools Initiative.
