One of the benefits of attending a school like Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School is that, when the time comes to leave, students do not have to lose touch with the School or their friends. The School keeps in touch with students through the Old Grammarians’ Association.

In 2006, the Association changed its constitution to allow more people to become members. Along with former students, now both former staff and parents can join the Association and enjoy the many benefits.

The Association, which has nearly 3000 members, is responsible for organising popular social events such as class reunions and breakfasts for its members.

The OGA also provides valuable support to the School through the awarding of the annual Art Acquisition Award at Speech Day, representation on the School Board, and financial assistance to various School projects.

Reunions
Reunions are held throughout the year from one year reunions to 30 years. Organisers are called for to assist the OGA Secretary with the following Reunions in 2008:
Class of 1998 – 10 Year Reunion
Class of 1988 – 20 Year Reunion
Class of 1978 – 30 Year Reunion
More information about these Reunions can be obtained from the What’s On section of the OGA On-Line Communication Directory (members only),  or by contacting Kym Ashby on 9722 6005 or email oga@bcgs.wa.edu.au.

On-Line Noticeboard
The OGA On-Line Noticeboard is provided as a special service to financial life members of the Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School Old Grammarians’ Association. The Noticeboard is an easy way to stay in contact with old school friends as well as stay up to date with OGA events and reunions. If you are a member of the Old Grammarians’ Association and would like to access the On-Line Noticeboard, please contact Kym Ashby by email oga@bcgs.wa.edu.au and provide your name, year of leaving and date of birth for verification.

Membership
If you or your child attended Bunbury Cathedral Grammar at any level for more than a year, you can now become a financial life member of the OGA. Staff members who have been at the School for a period of more than two years are also eligible.

If you would like to join, and enjoy the wonderful benefits including receiving two editions of the Grammarian each year, gaining access to the OGA On-Line Noticeboard and receiving invitations to various OGA events and reunions, please complete and return the OGA Membership Form below along with the once only Life Membership Fee of $130.
